by car
Coming from the highway A5 to Nordwestkreuz Frankfurt:
Take the exit Messe, Theodor-Heuss-Allee, direction Stadtmitte, driving towards Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage, turn left into Mainzer Landstraße, keep straight on Taunusanlage until you reach the Opernplatz.
Coming from the highway A3 to Frankfurt Süd:
Follow direction Stadtmitte, take the B 44 Kennedyallee, turning into Hans-Thoma-Straße, turn left into Schweizer Straße, cross the Untermainbrücke, straight on to the Neue Mainzer Straße, turn left into Junghofstraße, turn right into Taunusanlage and keep straight on Opernplatz.

Follow the parking guidance system as you arrive. The indicated number of available spaces (digital signage) relates not only to the car park of the Alte Oper Frankfurt, but to all the surrounding car parks as well.

Take the urban railway S8/S9 towards Hanau main station, get off at Taunusanlage, and you are immediately at the Alte Oper. The Alte Oper is approx. 14 km away from Frankfurt airport and can be reached within approx. 30 minutes.
